Video of Oklahoma City Thunder fans harassing a young Indiana Pacers fan and his mother in the wake of Game 7 of the NBA Finals has gone viral on social media. The Thunder beat the Pacers by a score of 103-91.

The video was seemingly taken as a mother and her young son were exiting Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

The two Pacers fans can be seen getting screamed at before someone in the crowd appears to try and snatch something from the hands of the little boy. This prompted a good samaritan to step in, exclaiming that it’s “Just a kid.”

Overall, it’s a far uglier scene than the one that unfolded with the Pacers fan in New York City a few weeks back but will get a fraction of the attention from basketball fans.

Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals was marred by an injury to Indiana Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who went down with a torn Achilles early in the first quarter. At the time of his injury, Haliburton had hit 3-of-4 attempts three-point attempts.

The Thunder were led through Game 7 and the entire season by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who became the first player since Shaquille O’Neal in the year 2000 to win the regular-season scoring title, regular-season MVP, and Finals MVP in the same season.

The 84 total wins that the Thunder had across the regular and postseason is also tied for third-most all-time with the 1996/97 Chicago Bulls. Following their dominance across the 2024-25 season and subsequent NBA title, the Thunder have been installed as prohibitive betting favorites to win next season’s NBA title with odds of +200.
