As she had been promising for a couple of weeks now, popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac played her first competitive round in quite some time this week in the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic at East Lake Golf Club.
Earlier this month, Paige Spiranac shared a video in which she revealed how she was preparing for “a big competitive golf event.”
That event turned out to be the Creator Classic, which she posted about on Friday on her YouTube channel.
“If you follow me elsewhere you know I was EXTREMELY nervous to play in the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic at East Lake Golf Club,” Paige said in the description of the video. “But I did it! Plus I had fun! If you didn’t catch it live or want all the behind the scenes, you’ll definitely want to watch this one.”
For those unfamiliar, the Creator Classic pitted 16 of YouTube’s biggest golf influencers against one another. The top-four finishers after eight holes of stroke play were then advanced to a one-hole sudden-death playoff. Joel Dahmen of Full Swing fame provided on-course commentary for the broadcast.
“The response from fans and from the content creators themselves has been overwhelming,” PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan said about the event.

Luke Kwon ended up taking home the title, defeating Wesley Bryan, Roger Steele, and Sean Walsh in the playoff.
Bryan actually had the lowest score after eight holes at two-under. Paige Spiranac, after working with Wyndham Clark last week, finished in ninth place at two-over par. The worst score was turned in by Dude Perfect’s Tyler Toney with a score of 10-over par.
“All in all it was a fantastic day,” Spiranac said after the event. “The nerves were there. It’s fun to like, test yourself on a championship golf course with great competition.
“I had it going, and just a couple bad wedge shots and a couple bad breaks with just where it hits, but I think if I played this course more and had more course knowledge then I really could have like given it a go today.
“Because drives were awesome and normally in competition like, that’s the first thing that goes for me. I’m like, all over the place. So for me to just consistently hit all these drives great was like, massive for me.”
