At the end of the Nebraska-Michigan State game, Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. found Brandon Reilly for a 30-yard go-ahead touchdown with 17 seconds left on the clock. Reilly went out of bounds before coming back in to catch the ball, but the referees determined that he was “forced” out by the defender and was eligible to make the catch.

The call was horrendous as you can see the defender didn’t really “force” anyone out.

Update: ESPN personality and MSU alum, Jemele Hill, had a pretty NSFW reaction to the play that cost MSU the game.
