Rob Gronkowski is reacting to rumors that he’s considering making an NFL comeback. Last week, Gronkowski raised eyebrows when he said he should probably be playing in the NFL because he’s working harder now as an NFL analyst than he did when he was playing.
“I was talking to my brother, actually, yesterday, and I told him, ‘Hey, I might as well go back to football because I’m grinding harder than I ever grinded before, and I’m not even playing football,’” Gronkowski said on the Dudes on Dudes podcast.
“So like, I might as well go back because playing ball would be easier than what I’ve been doing over the last six months.”
“I appreciate all the people in my life. I appreciate all my jobs. I’m definitely thankful for every job that I had throughout the season.”
After his comments went viral, a report claimed that Gronkowski was currently training in Colorado and seriously considering returning to the NFL.
League sources tell me 4X Super Bowl champion TE Rob Gronkowski is considering a return to the NFL.
He worked with Sean Payton at Fox & I’m told he loves Denver & QB Bo Nix. (2 of his brothers, Dan and Chris, had short stints with the team).

On Wednesday, NFL insider Jordan Schultz asked Gronkowski about the rumors and he immediately shot them down.

“Crazy bro. They must know something about me that I don’t. I wish I still had those powers, because that would be cool if I did. But I was just in Australia for a few days. Now it’s time to relax a little. No football.”
