Taft star Russell Fitzgerald is committed to play college lacrosse at Princeton. He is absolutely jacked.
The highly-coveted FOGO firecracker spends a lot of time in the weight room and it shows.
Fitzgerald, a four-star prospect in the college lacrosse recruiting Class of 2025, is considered the third-best player at his position per Inside Lacrosse. He ranks as a top-35 recruit overall. It is expected that he will immediately step into the starting lineup for the Tigers, who currently rank No. 1 in the country.

In the meantime, Russell Fitzgerald continues to be a dominant force inside the circle for one of the best high school lacrosse programs in the Northeast. The Taft School, located in Watertown, Connecticut, enrolls approximately 600 students. It is a private boarding school for grades 9-12. The Rhinos typically rank inside the top-25 nationally and often compete for conference and national titles.
This year’s team starts with Fitzgerald, literally. He is the faceoff guy!
Russell Fitzgerald will eat you for breakfast.
You do not want to see him in the circle. Although the high school senior is listed at 5-foot-10, 195 pounds, I would bet that second number is low. Or, at the very least, he is 195 pounds of pure muscle.
To say that Fitzgerald is jacked would be understated. Take a look at this photo captured by Quincy Nunn of The Lacrosse Network:

It may not be hard to guess that he is a faceoff specialist as soon as you look at him. The massive arms and green tape is a dead giveaway. And it’s not just a gimmick. Fitzgerald is a dominant force.
Good luck trying to win possession against one of the most jacked high schoolers you will ever see!
Russell Fitzgerald will finish up his senior year in just a few months. From there, he is off to New Jersey. Princeton can’t wait to get him on campus. The Tigers are in the mix for a national title this season. They are going to reload and be right back in the mix next season with a new faceoff specialist!
