The Savannah Bananas are officially a phenomenon. Over the weekend, the Bananas played at Nissan Stadium, the Tennessee Titans’ home, to a packed crowd of 70,000 to show off their unique brand of “fun” baseball featuring choreographed dances and “epic” celebrations.
Nashville, thanks for rocking with us🕺 We “freaked out” with former NFL player, Jevon Kearse, hit some handshakes with the Titans rookie draft class, and even had Dierks Bentley sing DR Meadows to the plate.

You could really feel the crowd’s enthusiasm when the Bananas introduced Cam Ward and other Titans’ draft picks to Titans fans for the first time.

Not everyone is sold on the Banana’s brand of baseball. Some hardcore baseball fans have shown their distaste for Banana ball on social media.
“The Savannah Bananas are for people who think baseball is boring and also have zero attention span. It’s Little League with a Snapchat filter.” commented one fan on Twitter/X.
While the Bananas have their haters, it’s clear that Banana ball is here to stay.
