Serena Williams Praises Caitlin Clark & Bashes People Who Are Negative Towards Her

Women’s tennis GOAT Serena Williams is chiming in on the Caitlin Clark controversy and is praising the young WNBA star for how she’s handled all the negativity coming her way.

Since arriving at the WNBA, Clark has been at the center of a culture war firestorm and has been criticized for not speaking out on certain social justice issues.

While speaking to the media at a red-carpet event, Williams praised Clark for how she’s handling everything and gave the younger star a bit of advice.

“I just love that she tries to stay grounded,” Williams said. “She says she doesn’t look at her social [media]. I get it. I don’t either. I think it’s so important to just continue to do what she’s doing. No matter what other people do, if people are negative it’s because they can’t do what you do, basically. Hopefully, she’ll continue to do as she’s doing.”
