Seth Curry’s Tiny Role In ‘Juwanna Mann’ Has Resurfaced And NBA Fans Can’t Believe It

Hollywood has a long and storied history of pumping out films featuring men dressing up as women as part of some impossibly elaborate ruse, a concept that has served as the basis for beloved cinematic classics including Some Like It Hot, Mrs. Doubtfire, and, of course, White Chicks.

That idea has also led to the creation of some projects that haven’t exactly stood the test of time, and it’s safe to say that’s the case with 2002’s Juwanna Mann. The movie—which revolves around the antics of a pro basketball player who masquerades as a member of the opposite sex to play in a fake version of the WNBA—was widely panned by critics upon its release, and I think most people would agree it’s aged very poorly in the two decades since it came out

The cast of the film includes names like Vivica A. Fox, Ginuwine, and Lil’ Kim, but producers were also able to convince some pretty notable figures in the basketball world to sign on, including Dikembe Mutombo, Rasheed Wallace, and Mugsy Bogues.

As one Twitter user recently pointed out, it also contained a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance from a future NBA player in the form of Seth Curry (he ‘s the shorter kid in grey in the picture below).

You only have to take a brief look at the replies to realize this revelation was news to plenty of people, and it seems like Curry might need to brace himself for a new flood of randos invading his mentions after having their minds blown—a phenomenon he complained about over a decade ago when he was still playing at Duke.
