The Indiana Fever won the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup on Tuesday night, the first in the franchise’s history, beating the Minnesota Lynx by a score of 74-59. The Fever were able to win the midseason tournament trophy despite Caitlin Clark’s absence due to injury.

After the game in the locker room, the Indiana Fever players took to Instagram Live to celebrate, and despite not playing in the game, defending WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark certainly got in on the fun.

Sophie Cunningham — who has made a bit of a name for herself this season as something of an “enforcer” for Caitlin Clark and the Fever — was also clearly enjoying herself as she took to the center of the frame to unleash a celebratory twerk.

In the win over the Lynx, Cunningham had 13 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. For the season, the 28-year-old former Missouri Tiger is averaging 5.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1 steal and 0.8 assists per game.

Cunningham began her career with the Phoenix Mercury after they drafted her out of the University of Missouri in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft. Earlier this year, Cunningham was traded to the Fever as part of a four-team trade between the Mercury, Fever, Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun.

The 28-year-old has also become a popular figure on TikTok thanks to her pregame outfit videos, as she recently crossed 1 million followers on the social media platform.

As for the Fever’s regular-season campaign, the team currently have the 8th best record in the league at 8-8 and are expecting Clark’s return to the court soon as she’s considered “day-to-day” with the groin injury she suffered on June 25.
