Popular model Sophie Rain is living quite the life. Not only is she making tens of millions of dollars with her lucrative subscription-based online account, she went viral on Monday after sharing a photo of herself celebrating her 21st birthday partying with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
Sophie Rain was at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas when she ran into Shaq, who periodically works as a DJ there. In one photo, Rain can be seen giving the middle finger to the camera with Shaq sitting behind her, grinning from ear to ear.
“Look who I ran into on my birthday!!” she wrote on X (Twitter).
Rain also shared a video of herself in the DJ booth at the club, captioning it, “Celebrating my 21st birthday in Vegas with Shaq.”

Sophie Rain gushes about getting to hang out with Shaq
“I did not think my 21st would go this way,” Sophie Rain told Where Is The Buzz. “Shaq was so gracious, so real. He made me feel like I was the center of attention, which is crazy to say because it was my birthday.”
She continued, “Turning 21 is already such a milestone. To get the chance to share that moment with someone who’s a global icon made it unforgettable. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
Because, internet, numerous people made jokes or snarky comments about the photo and video of Rain with Shaq at the Vegas club. Despite that, Sophie Rain, who made more money last year ($43.4 million) than what Patrick Mahomes and Anthony Edwards were paid by their teams, remained unbothered.
“People are always gonna talk online, but the fact remains I had the time of my life,” she said. “I’m gonna remember this birthday, not for the comments, but for the moment of pure shock when I turned around and saw Shaq.”
Good to see that despite her little beef with Michael Porter Jr. hasn’t soured her on all things related to the NBA.
