Stephen A. Smith is suddenly high on Bronny James. Earlier this year, Smith went on a viral rant slamming LeBron for forcing the Lakers to give Bronny minutes.

“I am pleading with LeBron James as a father. Stop this. We all know Bronny James is in the NBA because of his dad.”

LeBron eventually confronted Smith over his comments about Bronny.

On Thursday night, Bronny scored a career-high 17 points in 30 minutes in the Lakers’ loss against the Bucks.

After Bronny’s big game, Smith claims that he always believed Bronny had potential to become an NBA player.

“I’ve always believed that this kid has the potential, once I watched him, to be in the NBA.”

Fans immediately called out Smith for lying.
