Who is Scottie Scheffler’s caddie?
Ted Scott has been a on the Tour for some time. While he didn’t play golf at the college level, he’s made a huge name for himself helping others excel at the sport.
In the early 2000s, he caddied for Bubba Watson. While by the lefty’s side, he saw Watson win two majors.
After 15 years together, the duo split. Scott appeared to be headed for retirement before linking up with Scheffler in 2022.
He initially proceeded with caution on the partnership, citing Scheffler’s temper in his reasoning.
“I had never really met Scottie other than the time we played with him in the New Orleans tournament, and I saw that he was kind of feisty,” he said before accepting the opportunity. “That was one of the questions I asked him when he called me. I said, ‘I don’t know if I want to work for you because of your attitude.'”
He eventually put the worry behind him with the golfer pledging to work on his mindset. He’s been more than satisfied with that decision. No caddie has it better at the moment!
