Third Person Dies In Deadly Florida Crash Involving Miami Hurricanes Player

A third person has died in a deadly car crash involving Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes. On Saturday, Miami-based reporter Andy Slater first reported the news that Hayes was involved in a serious car crash in Largo, FL.

“JUST IN: Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes was involved in a crash with fatalities today near Tampa, FL.”

“Hayes is not one of the deceased individuals, the Largo police department tells me, but he is hospitalized.”

“Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, I’m told.”

Largo police would later reveal that two children died on the scene due to the accident.

According to the Largo Police Department, 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon and 4-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria were killed when a Dodge Durango collided with a Kia Soul turning left at an intersection.

Police haven’t provided information about Hayes’ condition or whether he was driving at the time. A spokesperson told Local 10 News the investigation is “active and ongoing.”

We are now learning that a third person has passed away as a result of the crash.

“Largo police say a 3rd person has died in car accident involving UM LB Adarius Hayes. 78-year-old Gail Price has died; she was the driver of a Kia Soul that collided with a Dodge Durango that was driven by Hayes. Two children died. Hayes has non life-threatening injuries, per police.”

Hayes has yet to be formally charged with any crimes, and it’s still unclear about his full involvement in the crash.
