LeBron James very well might be the G.O.A.T. but he also has a proclivity toward flopping that drives many NBA fans, myself included, up a wall. King James was flopping it up in Game 2 against the Timberwolves and we can say that with 100% confidence after seeing the clip below.

The most common refrain from people defending LeBron James flopping is that “it’s all part of the game these days” which sadly, to a certain extent, is true. But that doesn’t excuse LeBron from making a fool out of himself here…

This is a 40-year-old man pretending he has a booboo and covering his eyes so the refs can’t see that he is perfectly find and just trying to sell his flopping so he isn’t assessed a technical foul:

That same video is also available on X (née Twitter) for those that can’t see TikTok videos at work for whatever reason:

LeBron James has such a love of flopping that there are literally thousands of YouTube videos about it. People put together ‘LeBron James flopping’ compilations on the regular and get tens of thousands of views. Heck, this one from ELEVEN YEARS ago has over a million views. The dude has been doing it longer than most people have been in the league:

Will the NBA do anything about this egregious flopping? Likely not. He’s the face of the league and they will protect him at all costs. But game 3 of the Timberwolves-Lakers isn’t until tomorrow night.

Rest assured someone in the league’s front office has seen this clip as it has nearly 3 million views on X. If they wanted to act, they could and they would. But instead they will sit on their hands and let this dude play peek-a-boo with the refs while he rolls around on the ground trying to sell a non-existent injury.
