Ticket Prices For Knicks-Pistons Over 10X More Expensive Than Pacers-Bucks Tickets

We’re into the thick of first round of the NBA Playoffs, and we’ve had a ton of great games so far. Now, we’re getting to the point where teams have either clinched advancement or have games to clinch, as only one series is 2-2 with three two of the eight series having ended in sweeps.

Three teams with 3-1 leads, the Knicks, who are playing the Pistons, the Celtics, who are playing the Magic, and the Pacers, who are playing the Bucks, all have clinching games on Tuesday at home. But, the difference in ticket prices show just how much more expensive everything is in New York and even Boston compared to Indianapolis.

The Pacers have been awfully impressive against the Milwaukee Bucks during this series, winning two blowouts as well an eight-point win in Game 2. Meanwhile, the Knicks and Celtics haven’t necessarily been at their best, but have found a way to win a couple of close games and have put themselves in the drivers’ seat. If those three teams win on Tuesday night, that means that all of the Eastern Conference series will be completed in five games or less.

What’s really interesting about these three games are the ticket prices. Take a look at the get-in prices for these games!

Part of the problem in terms of low-priced Pacers tickets is that the game is being played at 6PM ET. But, still, it’s insane that their tickets are well over 90% cheaper than tickets to go see the New York Knicks. Knicks tickets are always expensive, for sure. But, that’s a wild gap. When you consider that Knicks tickets are a lot more expensive than Celtics tickets, it puts into perspective just how much New Yorkers love their Knicks.
