Tickets To See Caitlin Clark And Paige Bueckers’ First WNBA Showdown Will Cost You A Small Fortune

Last year, Caitlin Clark stepped into the WNBA and made herself the face of the league in her rookie season. Wherever Clark went, ticket prices would soar.

This year, there’s a new superstar set to enter the league in the form of the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft, Paige Bueckers. Bueckers, like Clark, enters the WNBA with expectations that she will immediately become a superstar and maintain that level for years to come.

So, it should come as no surprise that tickets for the first showdown between Clark and Bueckers in the WNBA are incredibly hard to get your hands on.

Clark and the Indiana Fever first travel to Dallas to take on Bueckers and the Wings on June 27. As of the time of writing, the cheapest ticket available on Ticketmaster is in the upper deck of the College Park Center and will cost you $317, according to Ticketmaster.

But it gets worse.

According to Vivid Seats, the average ticket price to get into the game is $450. Oh, and if you want to be close to the court, you’d better be ready to pony up. The cheapest courtside seat for the game is $1,008.

Things such as suite and club tickets are listed for over $4,000. The game is, unsurprisingly, the most expensive in WNBA history to attend. Bueckers and Clark are scheduled to play four times in 2025, with two games in Dallas and two games in Indianapolis.

Paige Bueckers Isn’t Worried About Caitlin Clark Comparisons In The WNBA

Despite the high expectations, Bueckers says she’s not going to take the bait when it comes to Clark comparisons.

“That’s what the media cares about,” she said. “That’s what everybody who watches basketball cares about. I used to be bothered by it. But I’ve done so much work on myself and my approach. The ability to not run a race in comparison, to run my own race and worry about that. Caitlin’s a phenomenal player. We’re also completely different players.”

Bueckers is right. The two are very different players. But they’re also now the two of the biggest stars in a league that is experiencing exponential growth. So the comparisons are going to come whether she likes it or not. And with any luck, the two will continue to make a ton of money squaring off with one another.
