Colorado Buffaloes superstar Travis Hunter may well be the best college football player in the country, and it appears that his incredible athleticism runs in the family. Hunter’s younger brother, Trayvis, is causing defenses headaches for Effingham County High School in Georgia.

Trayvis is a 5-foot-6, 135-pound sophomore with absolutely blinding speed, much like his brother. He moved to Effingham this year after Travis bought his mother and brother a new house in the district. Thus far, he has 36 receptions for 496 yards and six touchdowns for the 6-4 Rebels.

His highlight reel hit the internet on Tuesday, and fans couldn’t believe how much he looked like his brother in the open field.

“What kinda f—— genes is this,” one fan asked excitedly, while another wondered why people would expect anything different.

At this point in his career, Trayvis has not yet hit a growth spurt. But if he does, the college football world will absolutely be on notice. Even Trayvis’ high school coach John Ford was in awe when he first saw him take the field.

“(Trayvis family) came out and said they’d like to visit. Heck, yeah. Trayvis is a good kid. We had a great conversation,” Ford told the local newspaper. “When they got here, (Trayvis and his brother) were just messing around (racing) on the field and I was, ‘Oh my God, he’s running evenly with his brother.’”

Ford said that the influence Travis has on his younger brother is obvious.

“You can tell (Trayvis) has grown up around the game,” he said. “He’s grown up with someone who plays it at a high level. (Trayvis) is smooth and just needs a sliver of grass to make a play.

“By the time his third step hits the ground, he’s at full speed. He’s explosive and we’re excited to have him. Just give him the ball and let him do what God blessed him to do.”

Who knows where Deion Sanders will be by the time Trayvis gets to college? But if he’s still coaching at the college level, he just might have another Heisman Trophy candidate on his hands.
