Trevor Goosby is not someone you want to see lined up across from you on the hardwood or on the gridiron. The monstrous offensive lineman will presumably take over at the left tackle spot for Texas during the 2025 college football season but new head basketball coach Sean Miller might want to consider a future where he competes as a two-sport athlete.

His athleticism is unmatched for his size.

Goosby ranked as a three-star prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2023. He ranked as one of the top-20 players at his position out of Melissa, Texas. The Longhorns ultimately received his commitment over 13 other offers from schools like Texas A&M, BYU, UTSA, TCU and Kansas.

Schools in and around the Lone Star State knew Goosby was a diamond in the rough. Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood knew he had the potential to be a stud. They were right.

Goosby arrived to Austin at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds. He added more than 30 pounds and a full inch to his frame over the last two seasons. Texas lists him at 6-foot-7, 314 pounds. Massive guy.

Although Goosby did not start every game for the Longhorns last year, he made multiple appearances in both tackle spots due to the loss of Kelvin Banks and Cam Williams. The tape does not lie.

Get out of Trevor Goosby’s way or get run over!

When the rising junior is not too busy bulldozing smaller defenders or in the weight room, you can find him on the basketball court running fives with Arch Manning. He always looks out for his quarterback!

Trevor Goosby recently put his athleticism on full display with a 360-degree dunk. To do so is impressive at any height or weight. To do so at 6’7″, 314 is downright ridiculous.

I don’t know if Sean Miller needs another big, and I doubt Steve Sarkisian would let him, but Trevor Goosby would have no problem making the transition. He is a freak in the best sense of the word!
