Tyson Fury apparently took a lot of punishment from Francis Ngannou during their fight.
On Saturday night, Fury found himself in trouble when he was knocked down by the former UFC star in the third round of their boxing match.
A day after winning a controversial decision vs Ngannou, Fury spoke to Boxing King Media about the fight.
According to Fury, he felt the punch that knocked him down was a “hook to the back of the head.”
“He punches hard, but it was a bit like a hook on the back of the head, the knockdown. Apart from that he didn’t really get me with much else.”
Fury did compliment Ngannou but said that he had an off night.
“You can’t take anything away from Ngannou. He’s a good fighter and he gave me a very good fight. I trained very well and don’t have any excuses. It’s boxing, some days you have good days, some days you don’t.”
