Vegas is rooting for Jake Paul to beat Mike Tyson this weekend. On Friday, November 15, Paul will finally face off against Tyson on Netflix and is a favorite to win the fight.

According to BetMGM, Paul is a -190 betting favorite, but a majority of fans are betting on Tyson to pull off the upset against the Youtuber-turned-boxer.

BetMGM senior trader Alex Rella revealed that the sportsbook is rooting for Paul to win because they would lose a ton of money if Tyson pulls off the victory.

“We expect the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight to be the most bet on boxing match in BetMGM history. Bettors want to see Paul get knocked out and love Tyson as an underdog. The book will be rooting for Paul to win.”

While the Tyson-Paul boxing match is popular among gamblers, several states, including New York and Pennsylvania, opted not to offer betting action on the fight due to “non-traditional rules” in the bout.

“The New York State Gaming Commission has discretion regarding whether specific sports events are eligible for wagering. Wagering on this fight is not permitted in New York State.”

“While the fight has been sanctioned as a pro bout by the State of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (which regulates combat sports in Texas), the bout has non-traditional rules, including two-minute rounds and 14-ounce gloves rather than the standard three-minute rounds and 10-ounce gloves.” said the New York State Gaming Commission via statement to the NY Post
