Immediately after their win, Virginia fans rushed the field. And nearly trampled an FSU player.

NO NOTES. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. The speed is something I’ve never seen before in my life. Go off UVA 🫡

Fans on social media were not happy with Virginia’s field storm.
I know that’s a big win for UVA and it looks cool on TV but there’s no way rushing the field like that is safe for opposing players and coaches. It does look cool but it’s really not the right thing to allow in 2025.

Under the ACC’s new event security policy, Virginia will be fined $50,000 by the conference as a first-time offender.
All fines collected under the policy will go to the Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship Fund, which benefits ACC student-athletes pursuing graduate education.
The updated event security policy was announced on July 22, 2025, during ACC Football Kickoff.
