One of professional WWE’s biggest stars shocked the wrestling community today when he announced his sudden retirement on Twitter after being sidelined from the company after suffering a serious concussion in April.
Tonight on Raw, Daniel Bryan confirmed his retirement in an emotional goodbye speech in his hometown of Seattle and there weren’t many dry eyes left in the crowd by the time Bryan delivered his final “YES!” chant..
As much as it sucks for Bryan to retire the effects of CTE on the brain are real and we can only hope he got in time before he caused any permanent damage.
