Bussin’ with the Boys co-host and former NFL linebacker Will Compton suffered a pair of embarrassing moments during his latest appearance on ESPN’s Get Up! on Thursday, September 18. Compton and his Bussin’ with the Boys co-host Taylor Lewan made their first Get Up! apperance on September 4 and have been appearing on the show on Thursdays ever since.

Will Compton — who played in the NFL from 2013 to 2021 with the Washington Commanders, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders — took those bluners on the chin, however, has he took to social media in the aftermath to poke fun at himself.

Bussin’ with the Boys co-host Will Compton bemoans his “lowest moment in media yet” following pair of embarrassing gaffs on Get Up!

The first instance Compton highlighted was a disastrous dap attempt with fellow analyst and former NFL wide receiver Andrew Hawkins, which he said “maybe the lowest moment” in his media career thus far.

“Gotta be better. And you will. One play doesn’t define you. Was It awkward? Yes. Was I embarrassed? Absolutely. BUT, do I regret reaching across the isle to my brother from another to show some love???? Also yes. Obviously yes,” Hawkins replied to Compton’s self-deprecating post.

Compton and Lewan, while massively successful podcasts, are likely just getting into the flow of traditional broadcast television, making any early screw-ups totally understandable.
