The Stud Budz are facing backlash. The duo of Minnesota Lynx guards Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman, who are known as the “Stud Budz”, went viral during the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend with their live streams.
Earlier this week, the Stud Budz teased a potential collaboration with Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy, in which they promised to ask him why he dislikes Angel Reese.
“We’re going to have a conversation with buddy, the same way we always have conversations with everybody. How do you figure out why someone is doing what they’re doing? You have a conversation.”
Portnoy went on to defend the duo for being willing to have them on their stream.
People are big mad at Studbudz just cause we talked. W fans are freaking nuts. I got one of biggest megaphones in the country. I love them. I love the league. Yeah I don’t like Angel and I love Caitlin. It’s called sports. pic.twitter.com/8BQd2tmVkW

The Stud Budz have once again fired back at critics of their potential collab with Portnoy.
“We can’t be cancelled. We started streaming with 50 ppl on here. If we go back to 50, we gon back to the 50 that love & rock with us genuinely. We don’t want the fake love. KEEP THE FAKE LOVE!”

As of now Portnoy has yet to appear on the Stud Budz stream, but it appears likely to happen some time next week.
