What is it about watching a fan at a sporting event run on to the field, try to evade security, and then get his comeuppance by stadium security that is just so satisfying to watch? It literally never gets old.
Case in point: a New York Yankees fan wearing an Aaron Judge jersey ran onto the field at Angel Stadium in Anaheim during the Bombers’ game against the Angels on Wednesday.
The fan showed off some impressive moves. He almost ran into Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger and appeared to be filming the entire jaunt on his iPhone.
At one point he even made a security officer take a wild spill as he juked him into the nether realm. He even threw a fist up in the air at one point in celebration. The fan’s moves were so good that he made through the outfield and was able to climb back into the stands to a raucous cheer from the fans in attendance.
For a brief moment it looked as if he had actually evaded security and escaped scot-free. Then one of the security personnel caught up with him. And then another. It did not end well for the fan as he was brutally dragged back on to the playing surface by the officers, held down, and then carted away by police.

Here’s an even better angle of the chase and eventual capture of the Yankees fan…
Here's the video of the fan running on the field at the Yankees vs. Angels game.

It really does never get old, does it? No word on whether the fan was actually arrested or if he was just kicked out of Angel Stadium. Hopefully it was worth the views.
