New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is already going to miss some time.
On Saturday, the New Orleans Pelicans revealed that Williamson, who has played 6 games this season, is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury.
“The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that forward Zion Williamson has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain. Medical imaging taken this morning confirmed the injury. Williamson will be out indefinitely and further updates will be appropriately provided.”
According the ESPN’s Shams Charania, Williamson will be reavaluated in a few weeks to see how his injury has healed.

Williamson, who has been plagued with injuries throughout his career, has already missed over 200 games in his brief career.
The Pelicans have played 400 regular-season games since Zion Williamson was drafted in 2019.

Fed up Pelicans fans are already calling on the Pelicans to trade Williamson.
“Yeah man, I’d just trade ’em next time he’s healthy.” said one Pelicans fan.
“Every generation is meant to have a star player that’s held back by injuries and this is ours” commented another fan.
